GOOD GOD IT HAS BEEN A WHILE (10/16/04)
Yeah sorry about this... we'll be more on top of our game in the future. Anyways, I don't have any real content to contribute tonight, so I thought I'd put in some good words for our home state of Montana. We have both left at this point, Michael in Cali and I in Jersey. Towards the end of the summer I went on a climb in Glacier National Park (about 45mins from where we live) with some friends and their father. Here are some pictures, to show just what everybody is missing out on in MT:

| To College We've Returned
(9/11/04) Like Ryan mentioned, we’re both now back in our respective colleges. Not to sound too downbeat, but this does present a two-fold problem for the site. First, we’re no longer able to see each other personally, which was always the best way for us to come up with ideas for comics, and other things. Second, we are of course now very busy as well, with obvious ramifications. This is not at all to say that we are abandoning the site, but rather that you should simply expect things to be a little more sparse, as I’m sure you’ve already figured and/or noticed.
We can probably continue to post some more random stuff and we do have some other ideas planned, which hopefully we will get to in a timely matter. In any case, make sure to keep checking back.

There is a new comic... (9/9/04)
And we are both back at school, and oh so busy, and umm, haven't really been very speedy about doing anything here... Sorry. More to come.

Wellllll (8/20/04)
It sure has been a long time since we updated... whoops. Michael actually left for school yesterday, so I suppose he would use that as an excuse for why there has been no comic in way, way too long.
I thought I'd entertain everyone with another sparkler bomb demo, this time in video format. The bomb was actually built in 2" pvc pipe, which seemed a bit sketchy, because it was pretty much a pipe bomb. We put it in an old birdhouse thing for added "effect."

Do Not Worry, I Have it Covered (8/7/04)
I thought that some of you may have been concerned about Ryan. Apparently DOOM 3 is a very scary game when played in the dark, transforming him into a whimpering little bitch. But do not fear, I have the situation well in hand. I have put together a little care package to help him get by. The first item included will be a stuffed toy kitten, who can act as a steadfast companion throughout his ordeal. Next will be a night light, which will be a beacon of hope in the darkness that surrounds him. And lastly a box of pull-up diapers, in case the first two items fail to ease the tension properly and he is forced to release it physically. On a side note, the official Huggies website actually asks you if you'd like to set it to your homepage. Who the hell does that?
But anyway, DOOM 3 seems to be a pretty sweet game and I should soon have my computer upgraded enough to play it respectably (The main reason it isn't at the moment, is because Ryan cannot seem to muster up the energy to bring his sorry ass to my house and help me install some things…fucker.)

Doom 3 (8/6/04)
I finally got Doom 3, well after it was released of course (thanks Montana), and have been working my way through it bit by bit. Michael was there as I conquered the first few levels, so that was all well and good. Later that night, I attempted to play by myself in the dark. Mother of God.
I don't really get scared by your everyday thriller. Sure, I'll jump like everyone else, but it's not like I'm sitting on the edge of my seat ready to piss myself. While playing Doom, I'm freaked out just standing in an empty room, even after I have killed its inhabitants, and am fairly sure there will be no more creepy-ass hell spawn coming my way. If it's dark, I'm almost afraid to put the Doom disk in my CD drive.
Anyways, you get used to it, and become distracted by the absolutely amazing graphics ID created. Here are a couple screenshots I thought were particularly interesting:
This is taken from my computer, I thought the writing on
the window was a nice little touch. Sorry for not getting any
monsters, for if I had taken my had off the mouse to hit
"Print Screen" while fighting some I would have been dead.

This is a screenshot of Doom 3 on Michael's computer.
Needless to say, his Radeon 9000 is having a hard
time keeping up with Doom's newfangled graphics engine.

A Moment in Our Lives (8/3/04)
After the Hydromaster comic, we decided that the next should be a little more random and less verbose, and thus this new comic was born. This actually happened, pretty much as shown.
As for the Comicon strip, even though I was not there (which was actually the subject of the comic) it seemed like a good excuse to do a sketch, just another effort to infuse the site with a little more Penny Arcade style.

New Sort of Comic-Like Thing (8/1/04)
Now posted is what I for some reason titled "Con Sketch 1," created just for you by Michael and his magnificent drawing tablet.
